WANT TO CHARGE YOUR OWN FEES FOR MASSAGE AT YOUR EVENT?
We don't mind. This is a great way to offset vendor costs or even make money at your event.
General Guidelines:
Maximum time per therapist is 6 hours per day. Book online with up to 2 therapists. Need more than 2 therapists? Re-book again to schedule with up to 2 more therapists or Contact Sales and let us schedule for you.
Therapists needed will usually depend on total event time, the number of massages and your budget. If you only have a 2-hour time frame but want to provide 8 people with a 30 minute massage per person, you will need two therapists to accomplish this job within the allotted time. It is always cheaper to invite a single therapist rather than several. If you do not know how many people will attend or use the massage service you may hire a therapist(s) for part or the entire length of your event. Minimum time on chair or table is 10 minutes per person. Maximum time you can book a single therapist for is 6 hours. If the event is particularly busy, you may need to book with a second or even third therapist, to work simultaneously.
First, figure out how many people will participate.
Next you must decide how long of a massage each employee will receive. If you have 6 employees and would like to gift them each a 45 minute massage, the total minutes needed would be 270 minutes.
4 employees x 45 minutes = 270 minutes.
The second step is to figure out if you have 270 minutes (4.5 hours) to spare for the total event. If you need the event completed within a 3 hour time frame, you will need to book 2 massage therapists for this event.
It is your responsibility to give therapists the detailed parking instructions during booking and reimburse any parking fees acquired. We recommend you include these fees up-front during booking.
The therapists bring all the necessary portable equipment and tools to complete the work requested. You may specify any additional requirements during booking.
The only thing to consider is the space where the therapists will set up.
We offer 4 basic event set up options. Chair massage, which is quick to set up and requires little space. Fully clothed table massage, if the space allows. Station-to-station massage if you would like our therapists to walk around servicing already seated clients. (Private) Unclothed table massage, for the full spa-like experience.
We accept all major credit cards and ACH transfers. We require a credit card to schedule the event. The charge will be processed after the event is complete. Massaology uses a third party, secure and PCI compliant payment gateway to process all payment types. After your event is complete, Massaology will automatically e-mail you a receipt of all services rendered. If you did not receive our e-mail, you can Sign In to your account and print a receipt from your dashboard.
To subsidize the event, you are welcome to charge your employees a fee for receiving an in-office massage.
